The name BioLynceus is inspired by Lynceus, one of the legendary Argonauts in Greek mythology. Renowned for his extraordinary gift of sight, Lynceus was said to see beyond what others could—deep beneath the earth, across the seas, and into places hidden from ordinary view. His vision guided Jason and the Argonauts safely through dangerous waters, helping them recognize unseen risks before they became obstacles.
The lynx, long associated with Lynceus, has become a symbol of perception, wisdom, and guidance. Throughout history, the lynx has represented the ability to see what others cannot and to lead with insight.
