TurfMaster® 12-5-3

Application Details

TurfMaster® is recommended to be used with soil and plant sample tests. General application rates are recommended to be used at a rate of 3 to 10 gallons per acre. This product is full concentrate and needs to be mixed with 100 gallons of water and applied immediately. TurfMaster® can be used in irrigation systems, fertigation systems, boom sprayers and applied through traditional applicators. When planning to use TurfMaster® with any other soil amendment, chemical or fertilizer, jar test. Make sure equipment has been properly cleaned and washed out before using it to spray or spread
TurfMaster®.

The recommendation calls for 3 applications over the 12 month time frame. Traditionally, an application would be completed in early spring, mid-summer and late fall. Mixing

To ensure ease of mixing and application, dilute with sufficient amounts of water. Jar test all new mixes. Assure there is no residue present from other chemicals when using sprayers and storage tanks.

Easy Flow Application Details

Fill applicator with product and run at the slowest application setting. Refill tank at least 3 times per year.

Hydro-Seeding Application Details

Add 1 pint per 1,000 sq feet to every tank load of hydro-seed area or 3 gallons per acre.

Hand-Application Details

Using a hose end sprayer apply 10 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft. a minimum of 3 times per year. Using a back pack or tank sprayer blend 10 ounces with 2 to 3 gallons of water and apply finished mix at 10 ounces per 4,000 sq. ft. area at least 3 times per year.

New Installation of Sod Details

Apply product at the rate of 10 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft. 1 day before installation or immediately after installation. Blend with as much water as need to get the coverage requirement.

New Seed & Germination Details

Apply 10 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft. 1 day prior to planting or immediately after seeding. Re-apply in 30 days followed by 3 applications per year after seed has geminated.

Transplanting Trees & Shrubs

Bare Root — blend 10 ounces with 40 gallons of water. Dip root in solution and plant. Water the product in with 1 quart of solution after planting.

Bag and Ball

Blend 3 gallons with 400 gallons of water. Fill planting hole half full of solution. Install plant and back fill.
